Nutrition is important for maintaining body fitness, body fitness can help prevent the onset of disease in the elderly. One of the nutrients that the elderly really need is protein. Protein is a nutrient with the main function of repairing cell tissue so that it can work properly. Elderly people who get enough protein have good immune system because one of the functions of protein is to maintain the body's immunity.

Apart from protein, exercise is also very important for the elderly. Exercise is carried out according to the elderly's abilities, such as morning walks, relaxing exercises, yoga or cycling. Exercise can maintain body fitness and improve memory.

Pantai Indah Kapuk Hospital, in collaboration with Nestle, held a healthy dialogue regarding "The importance of adequate protein intake and exercise for the elderly" featuring a specialist doctor in Geriatrics, namely Dr. Rensa, Sp. PD-Subsp.GEH and attended by 140 participants from various levels of society. At this event, group exercise was also held to freshen the body.
