PNEUMONIA SEMINAR 

Pneumonia is a lung disease caused by viruses, bacteria and fungi that can attack children and adults. In adulthood, pneumonia tends to occur due to lack of immunity. If adults or seniors suffer from pneumonia, they get tired more easily, feel weak and are at risk of falling, so the treatment given is not only for the pneumonia but also the risks it poses. For this reason, Pantai Indah Kapuk Hospital has a seminar program to provide information about pneumonia, the importance of vaccination and physical exercises to strengthen the body's resistance.

Presenting a speaker from a pulmonary specialist, Dr. Leonardo H Simanjuntak, Sp. P & Mr. Parmo SKM, S. FT, FTR, RSPIK Physiotherapist expert, the seminar was held on March 17th 2023, attended by more than 100 participants. It is hoped that through this seminar, people will take the time to prevent pneumonia through vaccination and always maintain health through physical activity.
